Generative AI Solutions Engineer

Core Responsibilities:

8+ years of experience required.

• Customer Engagement: Work directly with customers to define and execute their Generative AI strategies.
  
• End-to-End Development: Design, build, and deploy full AI workflows, taking them into production to solve real-world problems.
  
• Implementation & Integration: Integrate large language models (LLMs) and other AI technologies into client operations, ensuring seamless collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
  
• Product Influence: Provide feedback and insights from customer field work to the core Palantir AIP product development team.
  
• Problem Solving: Apply strong analytical and engineering skills to manage ambiguous situations and deliver value through data-driven solutions. 
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Engineering Background: A strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
  
• Coding Proficiency: Demonstrated ability in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
  
• AI/ML Expertise: Deep understanding of machine learning basics, the GenAI landscape, LLM integration (e.g., RAG, vector databases), and MLOps practices.
  
• Palantir Platform Knowledge: Experience using Palantir Foundry and AIP capabilities to manage data integration, ontology modeling, and application building (e.g., Workshop, Contour, Quiver).
  

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with comfort in a dynamic, customer-facing environment
