Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales will help to enhance customer engagement and sales opportunities.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs in a professional manner.
• Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Serve ice cream and slushes, and hand blend milkshakes.
• Provide product information.
• Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer experience and sales.
• Maintain merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cleaning and sanitizing.
• Support team members with various tasks to ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling.
• Ability to explain ingredients lists effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products and provide exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge of merchandising principles is advantageous.
• Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail is crucial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
