Reyna Hospitality is looking for a Head Chef to lead our King St Location. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an evolving, female-led hospitality group with locations in Toronto and NYC and future expansion plans. Our team thrives on passion, creativity, and a love for hospitality.

About Us:

Reyna is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant that blends flavors from Lebanon, Portugal, Greece, Spain, Turkey, and France. We offer lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, special events, and catering, serving up a fresh and innovative menu from Tuesday to Sunday.

Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for a seasoned chef with expertise in Mediterranean cuisine and training in classic French techniques. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, a strong leader with business acumen, and someone with exceptional management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development – Create seasonal menus, develop recipes, ensure brand consistency, and conduct competitive analysis.
  • Food Cost & Budgeting – Manage vendor relationships, control food costs, reduce waste, oversee inventory, and maintain budget targets.
  • Leadership & Operations – Train and mentor kitchen staff, oversee hiring, set team goals, manage BOH scheduling, and ensure kitchen efficiency.
  • Health & Safety – Enforce food safety standards, conduct staff training, ensure compliance, and maintain an inspection-ready kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years as a Sous Chef or higher, with leadership experience
  • 6+ years in fast-paced kitchens
  • Strong knife skills, ability to work all stations, and excellent multitasking abilities
  • Experience with scheduling, labor cost management, and administrative tasks
  • Passion for hospitality, creativity in Mediterranean cuisine, and a team-driven attitude

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
