We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia! In this role, you will be essential to our warehouse operations, responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our logistics flowing smoothly. Your duties will include receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. A strong commitment to safety and efficiency is paramount, and you will be expected to follow all company protocols, including the correct use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick products from storage locations based on customer orders or work orders.
- Pack items carefully to ensure they are protected during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counting.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
- Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including guidelines for lifting and the use of PPE.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required to support logistics.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety principles.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear provided PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory flow.
