Our Chicago, Illinois distribution center is hiring an experienced Inventory Control Specialist. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of inventory management to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and optimal stock levels within our logistics network. Responsibilities include developing and implementing inventory control procedures, analyzing inventory data, managing cycle counting programs, and resolving complex inventory discrepancies. You will be instrumental in identifying trends, reducing shrinkage, and improving overall warehouse operational efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses advanced analytical skills, a deep understanding of inventory management systems (WMS), and a proven track record in inventory control. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent leadership potential are essential. You must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and adhering to strict safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE. This position may involve occasional Lifting of inventory items.
