Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Phoenix, Arizona! We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks related to the handling of goods, ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly and our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This role is fundamental to our success in the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, as needed and certified.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning and system updates.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products and shipments.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Properly utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- This role requires the ability to perform frequent Lifting of packages, up to 50 lbs.
- Support the overall logistics chain through efficient warehouse activities.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform Lifting for extended periods. Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment. Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE. Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control. Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills. Must be reliable and able to work assigned shifts.
