We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. You will also assist with general warehouse duties, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management, ensuring smooth operational flow. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety are essential. We enforce strict safety protocols, requiring all operators to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established procedures to the letter. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift items up to 50 pounds. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming inventory.
- Help with picking, packing, and staging of outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Must wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
