This position is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly. You will be responsible for reading order tickets, locating the correct items, and preparing them for the packing station. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as adhering to all safety guidelines, is paramount. We emphasize a strong culture of safety, requiring all associates to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established procedures. This role involves significant physical activity, including extensive walking, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and use necessary PPE.
- Operate picking equipment, such as RF scanners.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety standards and PPE usage.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is a plus.
