We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our Logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will manage the inflow and outflow of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all shipping and receiving operations. Key responsibilities include unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, stocking inventory, preparing outgoing shipments, and coordinating with carriers. This position requires the ability to handle moderate to heavy Lifting and maintain an organized workspace. Safety is paramount; you will be expected to follow all Safety regulations and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will work closely with warehouse staff, management, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate order processing. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. This is a critical role within our Logistics network, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately. Responsibilities include: Accepting and inspecting deliveries, accurately documenting all received goods, organizing and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders for shipment, scheduling carrier pickups, and maintaining shipping and receiving records. Requirements:
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and RF scanners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
