We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to manage the movement of goods within our Provo, Utah facility. This role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring materials are efficiently received, stored, and distributed. You will operate various types of material handling equipment to transport inventory, contributing to a smooth workflow and optimized warehouse space. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials.
- Move inventory to and from storage areas.
- Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Support overall logistics and operational goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting and maneuvering of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
