In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their products accurately and on time. You'll work within a bustling warehouse environment, utilizing handheld scanners and other equipment to locate items, prepare them for shipping, and maintain an organized workspace. As a Picker/Packer, you play a direct role in the customer experience, making every order you handle essential. Your attention to detail will prevent errors and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Label packages appropriately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking and quality control.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines, including proper handling of materials and the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed picking and packing productivity standards.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve warehouse goals.
- This role involves frequent Lifting of packages, typically up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order fulfillment instructions.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player attitude.
- Must comply with all Safety regulations.
