Your duties will include preparing shipping documents, packaging items securely, labeling packages correctly, and coordinating with various shipping carriers. This position is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that products reach our customers on time and in excellent condition. Responsibilities:
- Process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare necessary shipping documentation, including labels and manifests.
- Package products securely for transit, selecting appropriate materials.
- Verify shipping information and addresses for accuracy.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain organized shipping records and logs.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and basic office software.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Capability for moderate Lifting of packages.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication skills.
This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our logistics department. Accuracy in documentation and packaging is key. You must be committed to maintaining a safe workspace by adhering to all safety regulations and utilizing the appropriate PPE. While accuracy is paramount, some Lifting of packages will be a regular part of the job.
