Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process all outgoing shipping documentation (e.g., BOLs, manifests, shipping labels).
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules and tracking information.
- Verify order contents against shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Stage shipments for carrier pick-up, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Maintain detailed and accurate shipping records.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding shipping status.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform other shipping-related duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk, logistics coordinator, or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and carrier online portals.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform light Lifting, up to 20 lbs, as needed for package staging.
- Understanding of shipping best practices and logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
