Our Huntsville, Alabama location is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will expertly operate forklifts to manage the movement of materials, including loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment is paramount, along with strict adherence to Safety protocols. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in forklift operation, a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and possess excellent operational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and containers.
- Transport inventory between different areas of the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Follow all company Safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Wear required PPE, including safety footwear and high-visibility vests.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Proficiency in safe forklift operating practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all regulations.
