We are seeking a diligent Shipping Clerk to manage our outbound logistics in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, verifying order accuracy, generating shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial to ensure that all shipments are processed correctly and on time. You will play a vital role in customer satisfaction by ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of orders. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments accurately.
- Verify outgoing orders against shipping documents.
- Generate shipping labels and manifests.
- Schedule pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Track shipments and provide updates as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers.
- Assist with inventory tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and carrier platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety protocols.
