Join our busy logistics hub in Chicago, Illinois, as a Receiving Clerk! We are looking for an organized and efficient individual to manage the incoming flow of goods into our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include unloading shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing received items for distribution. Accuracy and a keen eye for detail are essential to maintain inventory integrity and prevent errors in our supply chain. This role is critical for ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. - Unload trucks and receive incoming shipments efficiently.
- Verify received goods against shipping manifests and purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming products for damage and report any issues.
- Accurately record received inventory into the WMS.
- Stage received goods for put-away or distribution.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety standards and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in warehouse receiving, shipping, or logistics is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks involving Lifting and moving of packages.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency, including WMS experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
