Seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our Austin, Texas logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout our warehouse. Your contributions will be vital to ensuring smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities:
- Moving, sorting, and organizing materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
- Assisting with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following all training protocols.
- Adhering to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly using all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
- Performing regular Lifting and moving of products, adhering to proper ergonomic techniques.
- Identifying and reporting any damaged materials or equipment issues.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals within the logistics department.
- Supporting overall warehouse efficiency through diligent material handling practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to perform demanding physical tasks including frequent Lifting, and a commitment to workplace Safety. Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus. This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
