You will be responsible for a range of tasks including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders with precision, and preparing goods for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect products for damage and report any issues.
- Stock materials in their designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Pick items accurately based on order details and system requirements.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Wear and correctly use all required PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, like cycle counts.
- Support overall warehouse operations and logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial.
- Must be able to perform consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the entire shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding and commitment to safety best practices, including PPE usage.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or shifts when needed.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving within a logistics context.
