Job Summary:
Join our growing logistics operation as a Warehouse Associate in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is vital to ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, physically capable, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position offers a great opportunity to learn and grow within the warehousing and logistics industry. Your role will directly impact customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time. The successful candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility and be adept at handling various warehouse equipment. This job involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and moving of goods.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming inventory.
  • Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick orders accurately based on customer requirements, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
  • Pack items securely for shipment, using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided where necessary).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, aisles, and workstations.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by safety guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and assist colleagues as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Must be able to perform consistent lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in basic math and reading comprehension.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
  • Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as business needs dictate.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
