Seeking a proactive Warehouse Coordinator in Atlanta, Georgia, to manage and streamline warehouse operations. This role involves overseeing the organization of inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient material flow. You will be the central point of contact for internal teams and external carriers, ensuring that all logistics run smoothly and on time. We are looking for individuals with strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of warehouse management systems. A commitment to Safety and the proper use of PPE is essential for all team members. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
- Schedule deliveries and pickups with carriers.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Implement and enforce Safety protocols, including PPE compliance.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and logistics tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Lifting and moving materials is expected.
- Commitment to Safety and ensuring a secure work environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
