Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our operations in Washington, D.C. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures to minimize loss and optimize stock rotation. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying potential issues and proposing solutions to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency. Your contribution will be vital to maintaining operational flow and ensuring product availability for our customers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy of receiving and put-away processes.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting and operate material handling equipment.
  • Commitment to Safety and workplace best practices.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
