This crucial role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper handling of materials and use of PPE.
- Generate reports on inventory status, accuracy, and valuation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse and logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and operations.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
