Exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate in San Jose, California! Become a key player in our warehouse operations, contributing to the smooth and efficient movement of products. You will engage in a wide range of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and preparing orders for shipment, and managing inventory levels. This role is fundamental to our logistics chain, ensuring that our products reach their destinations accurately and on time. We are committed to a culture of safety, requiring all associates to follow strict guidelines and utilize provided PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order slips.
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular checks and cycle counts.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Contribute to efficient logistics by staging outgoing shipments correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet performance targets.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Understanding of basic inventory control principles.
- Willingness to follow safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to punctuality.
