Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials.
- Transport materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Stage materials for production lines or outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all regulations.
- Follow all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow.
- Ensure all materials are handled with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in operating basic warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Good communication skills.
- Punctual and reliable work ethic.
