Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Transporting materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Accurately picking and packing orders according to shipment requirements.
- Conducting regular inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery as needed.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and logistics.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Ensuring proper handling of all materials to prevent damage.
- Participating in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
