Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler for our facility in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other heavy machinery, stocking materials, and preparing items for distribution. This position is integral to our logistics and supply chain management. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to rigorously follow safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and involves considerable physical exertion. Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring proper organization.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock counts.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent safety record and commitment to following procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE.
