We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our logistics operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is crucial for ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately documented, inspected, and processed into our inventory system. You will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, playing a vital part in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips, inspecting goods for damage, and reporting discrepancies. Proper documentation and data entry into our warehouse management system are essential. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all employees are required to use the appropriate PPE and follow established safety procedures. This position may involve moderate Lifting and moving of packages. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, a methodical approach, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks.
- Verify received goods against shipping documents (POs, packing slips).
- Inspect products for damage and report any issues.
- Accurately record received inventory into the WMS.
- Tag and stage received items for put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or inventory role is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic data entry and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 pounds).
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
