Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across various systems.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and ensure rapid resolution to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, parts used, and repair histories.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and that proper safety protocols are followed during maintenance and operation.
- Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify potential equipment improvements or upgrades.
- Provide technical support and guidance to warehouse staff regarding equipment usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or warehouse environment.
- Strong proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Experience with forklifts, conveyors, and automated warehouse systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the proper use of PPE in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including occasional heavy Lifting and working in various warehouse conditions.
This role demands a strong emphasis on safety. You will be working with heavy machinery and industrial equipment, requiring strict adherence to safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE. Your contributions are vital to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our entire logistics operation.
