We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, picking and staging orders, and transporting items to various locations within the facility. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and checks as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating forklifts is required.
- Certification for forklift operation is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
