We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our Virginia Beach, Virginia warehouse team. In this role, you will be integral to our logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement and organization of materials. Your responsibilities will include receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming inventory, as well as picking, packing, and preparing outgoing orders. You will utilize various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), to move goods throughout the facility. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety , and adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory. This physically demanding job requires regular standing, walking, and lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Appropriate PPE , such as safety shoes and gloves, must be worn at all times. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations
- Pick and pack orders accurately
- Prepare items for shipment
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic understanding of inventory management
- Team-oriented and reliable
- Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and wear PPE
