Lead our team as a Warehouse Supervisor in the bustling metropolis of Los Angeles, California. This leadership role is crucial for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the highest standards of Safety. You will be responsible for guiding a team of warehouse associates, managing inventory, and optimizing workflow. A deep understanding of Logistics principles and a commitment to implementing robust Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), are essential. This role demands leadership in managing tasks that involve significant Lifting and material handling. Your contribution to Safety and efficiency in our Logistics network is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with Safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment processes.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, Safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Monitor and enforce the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all staff.
- Optimize workflow and space utilization within the warehouse to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct regular Safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Address employee concerns and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Drive continuous improvement in Logistics operations through effective management and team engagement.
- Manage the performance of the warehouse team, providing feedback and fostering a positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory, shipments, and personnel.
