We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be instrumental in the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, processing, and preparing merchandise for shipment. You will work closely with a team to ensure accuracy and speed in all tasks. A strong commitment to safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position requires the ability to perform tasks that involve significant Lifting, moving, and handling of goods. You will contribute to the overall success of our Logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming inventory, verify counts against purchase orders, and inspect for damages.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specific customer requirements and deadlines.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed, following all Safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all areas are free of hazards.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, with a particular focus on workplace Safety.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and quotas.
- Utilize RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory and order status.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in warehouse operations and Logistics.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the physical stamina required for the demands of a fast-paced warehouse environment.
