As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in our supply chain, contributing to the efficient management of our inventory and the timely dispatch of goods. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. This role demands a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to our company's operational standards. You will be working with various types of products and utilizing warehouse equipment to facilitate smooth operations. A fundamental aspect of this position is maintaining a safe and organized work environment; adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE ) is non-negotiable. The role involves regular physical exertion, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and bending throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming merchandise accurately.
- Inspect goods for damage and ensure proper documentation.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces.
- Participate in inventory control procedures and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all mandated PPE , such as safety glasses and gloves.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Strong emphasis on workplace safety and compliance.
- Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment (training provided for some).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be willing to wear and use required PPE .
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
