Our Nashville, Tennessee facility is seeking an organized Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. As an Inventory Clerk, you will perform a variety of tasks related to tracking stock, conducting audits, and ensuring that inventory data is up-to-date and reliable. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, supporting efficient order fulfillment and stock management. We value accuracy, diligence, and a team-oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record the movement of inventory.
- Perform regular cycle counts and investigate any variances.
- Assist with physical inventory counts.
- Maintain inventory records in the computer system, ensuring data integrity.
- Identify and report any damaged or misplaced stock.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve inventory issues.
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and the proper use of required PPE.
- Support the logistics team by providing accurate inventory information.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer applications.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic inventory control principles.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
