You will be responsible for receiving, sorting, staging, and transporting a variety of items. Key duties include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move products efficiently and safely. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and sort incoming materials.
- Transport materials to designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Stage products for picking, packing, and shipping.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Perform regular checks on material handling equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all Safety guidelines.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Support the overall logistics goals of the distribution center.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Physical capability for consistent Lifting, often exceeding 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
