Lead our warehouse operations as a Warehouse Supervisor in St. Louis, Missouri! This leadership position involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring efficient workflow for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping operations. You will be responsible for training staff, enforcing safety protocols, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy. We are looking for experienced individuals with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse management and logistics. Your primary focus will be on fostering a productive and safe work environment, ensuring all team members understand and adhere to safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE. This role is crucial for maintaining the overall efficiency and success of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily warehouse operations.
- Manage, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates.
- Ensure efficient receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Develop and implement operational improvements to enhance productivity.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Enforce all company policies, including strict adherence to Safety regulations and proper PPE usage.
- Manage scheduling and workflow to meet operational demands.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Resolve operational issues and customer service inquiries related to warehouse activities.
- Oversee the proper maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain principles.
- Ability to enforce Safety policies and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
- Experience with Lifting and operating various warehouse equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
