As a Data & Analytics Apprentice you are an emerging professional embarking on a structured learning journey within both the Analytics and Data Engineering teams. Through rotational placements and involvement in real‑world projects, you will actively contribute to the delivery of data solutions while developing essential technical and analytical skills.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Data & Analytics Apprentice, you'll join our Adviser business and spend time with both our Data Engineering and our Insights teams. Over the course of your apprenticeship, you'll work on real projects that make a tangible impact for our clients and colleagues.
You’ll Learn How To
Build dashboards and reports using Power BI
Manage and analyse data in Microsoft Fabric, a modern cloud environment
Apply fundamental data engineering concepts like joins, filters, and aggregations
Explore how AI tools can streamline analytics and improve efficiency
Understand data governance, privacy, and best practices in data management
Key Responsibilities
Coding & Modelling: Learn SQL for data extraction and manipulation and apply data modelling concepts in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
Data Visualisation: Create dashboards and reports that tell compelling stories
Data Operations: Support data pipelines and automation tasks
Governance: Follow data handling protocols and maintain data quality
Collaboration: Work closely with mentors and team members, sharing ideas and progress
