*Duties*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, utilizing your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to develop tailored care plans.
* Implement a variety of physiotherapy techniques, including trigger point therapy, orthopedics-focused interventions, and rehabilitation exercises to promote healing and mobility.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, ensuring seamless transitions from hospital to home or community settings.
* Deliver specialized care for diverse populations such as pediatric patients, geriatric individuals, and those requiring post-surgical or injury rehabilitation.
* Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs to foster ongoing recovery.
* Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, recording treatment progress and updating care plans regularly.
* Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives by contributing to care plan reviews and staying current with advancements in physiotherapy practices.
*Qualifications*
* Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
* Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, home health services, or community care environments.
* Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
* Hands-on experience with discharge planning processes and developing comprehensive care plans.
* Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient record management.
* Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals requiring acute or chronic care management.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
