Advanced Specialty Staff RN - Endoscopy at Providence Health and Services summary: The Advanced Specialty Staff RN - Endoscopy provides comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to established standards. This role includes leadership responsibilities, mentoring other nursing staff, and managing patient care through all stages of the endoscopy process. The position requires a registered nursing license, relevant certifications, and experience in a clinical healthcare environment. Provides professional patient care for all patients following established standards and practices. Serves as a role model for Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and LVNs by providing leadership which fosters positive attitudes and change, as well as supports management policies and procedures. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Assists in the organization and daily function of the procedure room in accordance with established federal, state and accreditation standards and facility policies and procedures. Assists in overseeing patient care activities in the pre-procedure, procedure and recovery areas and maintains a high standard of safety for the patient and other staff members.
