Join our fast-paced warehouse team as a Picker/Packer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is essential for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. You will be responsible for both picking items from inventory and meticulously packing them for shipment, upholding our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and possess a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and safety protocols. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to the success of our logistics operations. Attention to detail and a proactive approach are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Select correct shipping labels and apply them to packages.
- Maintain accurate records of picked and packed items.
- Ensure work area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Properly use all required PPE .
- Operate packing equipment and perform minor maintenance as needed.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks, including receiving and stocking, as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product information.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse and logistics best practices.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a team or independently.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE .
