Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Provo, Utah. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise safely and efficiently within our warehouse. Your precision and experience are crucial for maintaining optimal inventory flow and ensuring the safe handling of goods. You will also assist with loading and unloading trucks, supporting receiving and shipping operations. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and a commitment to operating equipment responsibly. You will collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure all logistical objectives are met. Adherence to all company safety protocols, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This role involves significant lifting and maneuvering of materials, with a requirement for lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. We are dedicated to a secure and productive work environment. - Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-operation equipment checks and report any issues.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support receiving and shipping department functions.
