Exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in Detroit, Michigan! We need an energetic and detail-focused individual to accurately fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring the quality of the goods. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to upholding high standards of service. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This position is a key component of our Logistics chain. Training will be provided for specific equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Scan items to update inventory records.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Stage picked orders for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Comply with all company Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE .
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is a plus. Must be able to perform frequent Lifting (up to 45 lbs). Ability to work quickly and accurately in a standing and walking environment. Strong attention to detail. A commitment to safety is paramount. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
