Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler in Atlanta, Georgia! We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to support our busy warehouse operations. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient flow of goods throughout our facility. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, moving materials to and from storage areas, and ensuring accurate inventory counts. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys physical work and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. You will be operating various material handling equipment, so prior experience is a plus, though we provide thorough training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to stand and walk for extended periods. A strong commitment to Safety and the proper use of PPE is essential. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. This role is integral to our Logistics operations.
