We are seeking a diligent Material Handler for our Kansas City, Missouri location. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This position is key to the efficient operation of our warehouse and contributes significantly to our overall Logistics capabilities. You will ensure that materials are managed effectively and that the warehouse remains organized and productive. Our company is committed to maintaining a safe work environment, requiring strict adherence to all Safety procedures and the consistent use of PPE . This role demands physical capability, including the ability to perform regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Join a team that values efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Move, sort, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, ensuring compliance with Safety standards.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report any issues.
- Wear all mandated PPE diligently.
- Support the broader Logistics team by ensuring efficient material flow.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including sustained standing and walking.
- Must be proficient in Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Teamwork and strong communication skills are essential.
