We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our vibrant warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your expertise ensures that materials are handled correctly, contributing directly to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations. We maintain the highest standards of workplace Safety , and adherence to all protocols, including mandatory PPE usage, is expected. This position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a professional, dynamic environment. A valid forklift certification is typically required, and experience in a warehouse setting is essential. The role also involves manual tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other industrial trucks to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and retrieve materials from shelves and racks.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while operating machinery or on the warehouse floor.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, supporting overall Logistics flow.
- Demonstrated ability to perform safe Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- A current forklift operator certification is required.
