We're hiring an Order Picker for our busy warehouse in Chicago, Illinois! As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our fulfillment process and directly impacts customer satisfaction. You'll work in a dynamic warehouse environment where teamwork and speed are key. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of Safety , providing all necessary training and requiring the consistent use of PPE . This position involves significant physical activity and the ability to perform regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Join our team and contribute to our efficient Logistics operations!
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment to move inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics department.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Requires the ability to perform Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail is crucial.
