We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina! If you have a proven track record of safe and efficient forklift operation, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will be responsible for maneuvering forklifts to move, pick, stack, load, and unload a variety of materials and products. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount as you navigate the warehouse, ensuring the integrity of both goods and equipment. You will perform pre-operational checks on your forklift to ensure it is in safe working condition and report any issues immediately. Adherence to all company Safety policies and procedures is non-negotiable. This position requires excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic logistics environment. You will be provided with all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role involves regular tasks that require moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and other transport vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Strictly follow all Safety regulations and utilize provided PPE.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting as required by the role.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and demonstrated experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to Safety.
