This role is fundamental to the efficient flow of our logistics operations, ensuring that products are selected accurately and prepared for dispatch. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from various locations within the warehouse, ensuring that each order is fulfilled precisely as specified. This position requires you to be physically active, involving considerable movement throughout the warehouse and regular Lifting of goods. You will be trained on the proper use of equipment and the importance of adhering to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Select and gather products from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify product accuracy against order tickets or electronic devices.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Maintain high levels of picking accuracy and efficiency.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper Lifting techniques and PPE usage.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
