Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Boise, Idaho warehouse. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory through meticulous tracking and management. You will conduct regular cycle counts, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, manage stock rotation, and help optimize our inventory processes within the broader logistics framework. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS). You will play a key part in maintaining accurate stock levels, minimizing losses, and contributing to efficient order fulfillment. Safety is a core value, and you are expected to follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and promote a safe working environment. This position offers a great opportunity to make a significant impact on operational efficiency and gain valuable experience in supply chain management. You will collaborate with various teams, including operations and receiving, to ensure seamless inventory flow. Proactive problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential. We are looking for a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Execute and manage cycle counting procedures to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update inventory records in the WMS with precision.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify trends, and recommend adjustments to optimize stock.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control policies.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, accuracy, and movement.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
  • Adhere to all company safety standards, including proper lifting and handling procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, stock management, or a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in using WMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Understanding of general logistics principles.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
