We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our Logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Your duties will include cycle counting, stock reconciliation, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our warehouse management system (WMS) reflects the most up-to-date inventory levels. Accuracy and a meticulous approach are key to ensuring efficient operations and preventing stockouts or overages. This position requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts of warehouse inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Conduct stock audits and assist with periodic physical inventories.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS.
- Identify damaged or expired stock and process it according to company procedures.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate inventory placement.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any potential stock issues.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for efficiency and accessibility.
Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stockroom Clerk, or in a related Logistics role is highly preferred. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential. The ability to perform precise counts and meticulous record-keeping is critical. While this role may involve some light Lifting, the primary focus is on accuracy and data management. A solid understanding of warehouse operations and a dedication to Safety will make you a valuable asset.
